The room was large with two queen beds, making our stay feel quite spacious, yet
The kitchenette could have used a few more utensils. The daily room service kept everything tidy, and while the bathroom was clean, it felt a little cramped. We enjoyed our time here and appreciated the cute staff.

Enchanting place overall, it is fairly clean, location is super so close to great restaurants & bars. It has cheerful and supportive staff team from the front desk to the housekeepers. I would recomand this place to anyone.

Clean facilities, spacious rooms, really good value
The lack of proper sound insulation makes it noisy!!! Having dishwashing supplies in the rooms would elevate the experience!!! Limited access to cool drinking water and ice!!!

The way the staff treated us was superb
- wifi was very slow and inconvenient - breakfast buffet was the same throughout our stay. Nothing changed at all, not even type of egg or toppings - no elevators

The hotel is a short walk from the city center, super convenient for our family outings. We enjoyed a self-serve breakfast by the pool, and found the overall vibe to be family-friendly. The kind staff helped us arrange trips to the reef and rainforest!
In my wife's opinion, the stair access made navigating with luggage a bit tricky.

I enjoyed swimming in the pool very much. The rooms have a good size and we had a nice quiet one off the street. The breakfast was good too, especially the fresh fruit every morning.
The staff could have been a little bit friendlier.

Close to all things. Staff all very friendly and helpfull. One bedroom suites nice. Easy access to tours information and bookings.
No lifts to be able to get to the 2nd or 3thd floor. Need to be reasonably fit to carry lugauge up and down stairs. Beds too small in some standard rooms. (Not suitable for European size people.) Breakfast hot food sometimes cold.

pleasant stay with room for improvement
The location is perfectly situated, just a short walk to the aquarium and the Esplanade. The standout staff, particularly Sjirani, provided really good service, leaving our room super clean after addressing our concerns. The garden view from our room added a nice touch to our stay.

Our room was not only brand-new, but also air-conditioned with tea, the sofa, for instance.

Close to the CBD and sensible price
noisey; poor sound proofing -more a design/build issue. Also plumbing needs some attention; washers on taps, cut off valve on cistern in near by room. Outside down pipe not connected to guttering. Not "bigeys" but worth fixing!

missingWrote a review on 01 Julgreat locationhelpful staffmoldy bathroomnoisy environmentcold breakfast
The family room was adequate but showed signs of wear, and there was noticeable mold in the bathroom's hidden corners. The complimentary breakfast was decent, but the plates weren't warmed, made the food cold quickly. A lack of sound insulation meant early morning disturbances from other guests slamming doors. While the location was fantastic for walking into town, improvements in room maintenance and noise control would enhance the experience.

Definately the location. close to everything. short walk to the sea front and the city. short drive from the airport. and the staff is also very nice, very helpful.
The room needs an update. but I think they are onto it, some rooms were under refurbishment when i was staying there. The staff said all rooms should be completed by March or April.
